Michael Gammon – Director

With more than 20 years of experience in the Recruitment and Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector, Michael Gammon has played a pivotal role in helping organisations achieve strategic growth, enhanced revenue, and improved service quality. His work spans government collaborations, policy development, and the design of workforce strategies that shape national employment models.

During his tenure as National Operations Manager at MEGT Australia, Michael managed large-scale systems for apprenticeships and traineeships, ensuring compliance and performance excellence. He engineered several innovative labour programs, including the Microsoft Traineeship Program, Cadetship Program, and ICT Pathway Programs - earning recognition for delivering measurable outcomes for government and industry partners.

At Careers in Demand, Michael leads with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and strategic innovation. His ability to balance corporate outcomes with workforce development makes him a key driver of lasting partnerships and effective employment solutions.

 

Michael Harvey – Director

Michael Harvey is a senior recruitment leader with over two decades of experience delivering purpose-driven workforce solutions. Since becoming Director of Careers in Demand in 2023, he has shaped the company into a values-led business focused on guiding individuals to rewarding career pathways and helping employers build strong, capable teams.

His experience spans diverse industries, including manufacturing, construction, engineering, and IT. Before leading Careers in Demand, Michael held the role of National Sales Manager at MEGT Australia, where he developed training and recruitment solutions for national clients and SMEs. At WHR Solutions, he established a specialised RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) business, developing customised workforce models for clients including DuluxGroup, Coates Hire, Orica, Eastern Health, and Boeing.

Michael’s approach is defined by strategic thinking, client collaboration, and team empowerment. His consistent record of driving growth, improving operational quality, and fostering lasting relationships continues to position Careers in Demand as a trusted name in Australia’s recruitment landscape.
